Technique Tuesday- exciting borders!

I am making it simple today since it is the first one. Todays technique actually came from and idea on Fab's Christmas blog (Thanks Fab for the idea!) This week, his challenge is to make a Christmas card with something punched (or blue and white). I have committed to doing his challenge every week, and needed to make a card and came up with snowflakes, since it is the only Christmasy type punch I have.

So, for this challenge, choose a punch you have and make a border with it. If you don't have a punch, get creative with your borders any way you want; make them any shape except the "normal" such as round or square etc.

For my example, I punch out a bunch of snowflakes and just glued them around the circle. Very simple, but it gave it a different look, but still gives the texture effect that a scalloped edge does. I used papers from HOTP in the Christmas Paper pack! I do not know the make of the stamp. My mom bought it for me at a garage sale and it was not mounted. I used diamond dust and crystal gaze on him and then for the snow I used dimensional fabric paint and put Martha Stewar snow glitter on the top.

There is no time limit on this, but once you are done, upload your image and let me know where it is. Paperwishes has a great place to add albums and pics. You may have to register to see the albums page, but I am not 100% sure.
